PULSES

Ethiopia is producer and exporter of pulse to the rest of the world. Ethiopian pulses are being produced on small hold lands and in organic fertilizer, pest sides and improved seed is not practical for the production of these items. Hence, the pulses we used to export are naturally produced and are organic in nature.

OIL SEEDS

Oil seeds are the most important export crop in terms of volume and it is the second largest export earning for the country. Oil seeds play a significant role in the lives of Ethiopian agrarian community and stakeholders in the national economy in Ethiopia.

SPICES

Spice crop have been produced and used in Ethiopia from time immemorial. Several indigenous and exotic spice crops are cultivated widely in the country by smallholder farmers. Currently there is a growing demand for organic spices in Europe, USA and Japan for food coloring, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, essential oil derivatives and textile industries.
